Testing Session - June, 19 2007 Approval Categories: TERM E, TERM J Participants: Fine & Performing Arts, School of Medicine, Metropolitan Programs & Summer Sessions

General observations & findings:

  • Many PINs needed resetting (GOATPAD)
  • One attendee (TCW) did / does not possess PPRD access (did not exist in PROD data as of last PPRD refresh December 2006)
  • One tester's Web4 PPRD access not functional (Robin Collins - FIXED)
  • only 2 or 3 needed approver status added (GOAEACC / NTRALVL)
  • Use of job aids would have avoided much confusion and greatly reduced the number of questions
  • 1 instance of the "NORTRAN" error upon saving an epaf (Gloria Ford) - upon adding to approver status, error did not repeat.
  • Approver functional links do not appear until the approver has an EPAF in their queue (same as WTE)

*EPAF looks and operates in a very similar fashion as WTE - strong familiarity made many users more comfortable more quickly
